Biography[]
Abbas Ali had an abusive marriage to Fatima Ali, whom he despised, beat, humiliated and even nearly killed. Due to this behavior Fatima decides to contact Carrie so that the CIA can eliminate Abbas and Abu Nazir before fleeing to the US. (The Smile)
He later prepares to meet with Abu Nazir. As Nazir exits his vehicle, one of his men shows the text message as the JSOC team prepares to open fire. Nazir returns to his vehicle and successfully escapes while two of his lieutenants are killed. Abbas Ali is also killed. Saul and Carrie later take her to safety, but Carrie, disobeying Saul's orders, insists on ransacking Fatima's apartment to find out what her husband has. She gathers what she needs and puts it in her bag before leaving. (Beirut is Back)
