The character Mitchell Clausen, played by Chance Kelly. He works for the Inspector General.

It was a different lie detector instead of the one Saul was used to and knew, because Saul said "who are you?" As if he was waiting for the usual guy. This was David Estes' man, already known from season 2, episode 11, with Saul Berenson.

He was the one who took Saul's lie detector test in season 2, the one they messed with, to keep him prisoner for 3 days. All because David Estes expected Quinn to kill Brody and didn't want Saul to stop him.

In Season 3, the character Mitchell Clausen IG agent visits Fara Sherazi.

Background[]

In the episode titled "In Memoriam", Saul is taken to an interrogation room. Among other things, Saul Berenson is interrogated about the circumstances surrounding Aileen Morgan's death, and whether Saul supplied her with the suicide weapon (his glasses). Berenson angrily calls the interrogation a "farce" and tells the interrogator Mitchell Clausen that the real reason he is there is that he has uncovered a plan to assassinate a U.S. Congressman (Nicholas Brody).

In the episode titled “A Red Wheelbarrow” (Season 3, Episode 8), Clausen pays a visit to Fara Sherazi (Nazanin Boniadi).
